Both the Hotel zur Post and the Kolpinghaus are located in Herne city at the heart of a complete system of roads and motorways. The exits of the Autobahn A42 and the A43 are about 1,000 meters away.

All major destinations within the “Ruhrgebiet” are less than an hour away. Via Herne train station you have access to the main train stations of Essen, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Cologne and Dortmund.

Both businesses are run in a familiar fashion and present themselves with the warm and typical atmosphere of the region – the ”Ruhrgebiet”.

In the Hotel zur Post all rooms are ensuite. There are two double, seven twin and eleven single rooms at offer. There is no fair surcharge.

Breakfast is served at your table in the breakfast room. It is good and plenty. The restaurants around the hotel will serve any needs for lunch or dinner.

The Kolpinghaus – the cooperation partner of the Hotel zur Post – where the conference rooms are located also offers very good German and international cooking. The distance between both locations is less than 25 meters.

For communication needs a central internet access (DSL) can be used free of charge in the hotel.

Currently, the rate for a single room at the Hotel zur Post is EUR 48 and for a double/twin it is EUR 75. Both rates certainly include breakfast. The use of any conference rooms in the Kolpinghaus is free of charge in connection with any consumed food.
